Went to Insomniacz last night in sheffield - was a really good night tho i made a total tit of myself...... - was chatting (total bollox) away to these 2 guys about doing a night (and couldnt remember who i had DJin etc (proper memory blank!)etc & running agency & one of them turned out to be simon eve (hard house dj) !!! - didnt even recognise him! - hes said he hoped my organisational skills were better than this normally! ha ha!

Anyway hes def interested in playing for us & may want to do something for the site!

I also had quite a funny random DJ experience!

When I was at Wildchild, I saw Rob Tissera after he'd finished what certainly wasn't the best set!

I went up to him in a partially mashed state and said "what the fcuk was that? You're usually much better!" He was pretty cool about it though and seemed to appreciate the honesty.

I mean creamy was saying he was huge down in the downstairs department then he was saying that you went down on him, so i kinda put 2 and 2 together, lol.

 

But then i realised this was a very bizarre dream i was having. So none of what i just said actually happened.

I did that with Lee Haslam at one of his first sets in London several month back. I knew roughly what he looked like caus I saw his picture on the Tidy site but he has a familiar look?!?!

 

I was in the VIP of Camden (if you can call it that) and woz chatting to Andy Farley; Spencer Freeland and another bloke who turned out to be Lee Haslam!! I made an idiot of myself by asking him why he didn't wait and come down for a bigger night in London after picking up on his northern accent!! He then said caus they asked me to play He saw the funny side though of course ...I don't really get a chance to see the DJ's who tend to play up north that much and it's a rare treat when they come down here!!! Times are changing though!?!?
