Just wondering, as Ministry magazine has ceased to be, what everyones opinion on it was.

 

I mean, a circulation that size, SOMEONE must have read/liked it?

If I'm totally honest, I don't think it was much different from Mixmag.

Why?

i didnt really like it, i like mixmag much more so i dont really care, hopefully all the new peeps buying mixmag will make it even better

it doesnt sy nothing on the ministry website??

Well theres only so much you can write and advertise regarding clubbing, Mixmag and Ministry didn't seem much different, except Ministry was a bit more biased.

i just found somthing on it and apparently it was because of a drop in advertising revenue

i always bought ministry over mix mag, for some reason i thought it was a little less-i dont know how to put it. was never keen on mixmag thought it as a bit up its own bottom!

I only bought Ministry because I'd heard people saying the name and just assumed they were huge / the best etc.. I'd never even heard of Mixmag until a year or so ago!!!

 

Visited Ministry of Sound club and didnt particularly like it - my fault for thinking it was gonna be huge/amazing - that then put me off buying the mag. Love their site though.

Im not arsed.

I never really thought they were much different but always brough mixmag cos they had funnier articles in it.

Ministry tended to show a very biased opinion on clubs in the capital, and attracted a lot of criticism, not least from some Peachey Ravers I know who disliked their opinion on Peach @ Camden Palace.

 

 

Personally, I only ever bought it for the cover CD's. The Cannabis Cafe and Mashed Central ones are the absolute dogs.
