Does anyone remember those sweets which were the same size and chewyness of chewits/opal fruits but were mint flavoured, each sweet was layered green and white. These were around in the mid 80's but just disappeared!

I remember them!! I want some sweets now. My current favourites are Bursting Bug's. They are great the blood spill's out when you bite them in half.

I had a pick n mix from woolies yesterday with fizzy cola bottles and butter mints and mini eggs

 

it came to £1.27

I like those jelly beer bottles/mugs they taste nothing like beer but I used to think I was well cool eating them as a kid.

They fizz on your tongue - just like me

fizzy sweets no good when ya mashed, as we found out when they were handing them out at wildchild!!

Why?

If u think normal fizzy sweets are bad when mashed, u should try flying saucers!

The rice paper 'saucer' dries out what little saliva u do have in your mouth then the sherbet just turns to paste.
