I seem to be the only bloke around who DETESTS football - honestly I really hate it - I didnt mind it at school when playing it but I cant stand it on the TV - just never seems to be very constructive - one season this team wins it, another season another or the same team wins it - I could understand it if the players didnt move around - it all just seems to be focused around money and who can afford the best team.

 

The only sports I like are single person sports like Tennis, Skiing, Snooker, Darts.

True Si - always feel I could be watching a documentary instead - but to be honest I've actually given up TV altogther now (apart from the odd film)

 

I did watch snippets of the closing games of the world cup - I dont mind when its a unified team so much - just cant stand all these arguments and songs i hear saying "we're the best" etc... - there are many different forms of supporters and some think they own the fecking team !

a lot of blokes i know who are into clubbing hate football- dont wanna massively overgeneralise but maybe theres a connection.

I'm not a huge fan of watching football either... I'll watch big games i.e. world cup, but don't follow any team or go out of my way to watch the game.
