December 9, 200222 yr Author CTW Admin This is rather comforting - its taken me months to build up the courage to post this in case all the blokes on the site hated me - or was I trying to get all the girls on the site to like me ! hehehe lol James@ClubTheWorld.uk CTW Founder | ClubTheWorld.uk | Twitter | Instagram Clubbing the world together ...
December 9, 200222 yr CTW Members I LOVE football! but then when I think about it - - it's all meaningless. Completely and utterly meaningless And it's not as if I enjoy watching it - I'm either sat on the edge of my seat willing my team to score and then if they do - I'm sat on the edge of my seat praying for the game to end But then I suppose it's worth it for that split second of joy when the ball goes in the back of the net - and of course then it's impossible to think about why the hell I'm jumping around the living room/pub like a mad man
December 9, 200222 yr CTW Members In truh I love most sport, except those damned egg chasers! How stupid is a game wen u have to pass the "egg" backwards in order to go forwards. And you Rugby people, your game wudn't exist without footy- so deal with it! must have time 4 good old english cricket Ah, the sound of leather on willow! My teenage daughter has been kidnapped, and the people I work with may be involved in both. I'm Federal Agent Jack Bauer and this is the longest day of my life...
December 9, 200222 yr CTW Members Football is a rollercoaster of emotion! Especially bein a Spurs fan. My teenage daughter has been kidnapped, and the people I work with may be involved in both. I'm Federal Agent Jack Bauer and this is the longest day of my life...
December 9, 200222 yr Author CTW Admin I guess I feel that so what if the team scores - they will be out celebrating / getting paid for it whilst I'm left at home with nothing, even though I've pilled loads of support into the team. Dunno, just kinda seems like a whole heap of a waste of time. I then took this one step further and dont watch any TV so I guess this post should be 'I hate most TV but I like the odd documentary and film which makes me think" James@ClubTheWorld.uk CTW Founder | ClubTheWorld.uk | Twitter | Instagram Clubbing the world together ...

December 9, 200222 yr CTW DJs James, I continue to be staggered by how much we have in common! * I hate football; watching it is tolerable but most of all I loath the laddish/yobbish sheep culture that surrounds it, not to mention the pathetic "hero-worship" of footballers, and the unrelenting hype of what is essentially just another sport; * In fact I find most televised sport very boring; * I hardly watch any TV (except for good comedy or documentaries); if I ever spend a substantial length of time in front of the box I feel really annoyed with myself afterwards, like "I could have actually done something constructive with that time!" Most of my best mates are not "normal" though. Many share my strange / off-the-wall / sardonic / silly sense of humour, or have a similar obsession with music. Also I have friends of various sexual persuasions, even though some people think it's odd for a straight person to mingle with gays or whatever. I've got nothing to prove, and I think it's cool for example to hug platonic male friends, even though it's not perceived as very masculine. I have great interest in such trendy subjects as philosophy and computer programming. Who gives a [censored] what's "normal"!! I do like marzipan though!!
December 9, 200222 yr CTW Members not a huge fan either myself mate. Don't mind it when it comes to like international games. But i'm more a rugby man myself.

December 9, 200222 yr CTW DJs Aaarrgh, I've just remembered how [censored] ANNOYING it is when the World Cup is on, and everyone gets obsessed with [censored] FOOTBALL. Including people who, strangely enough, have no interest whatsoever in football under normal circumstances. "But it's England innit!" I hate it when you just want to go out for a few drinks or whatever, except there's been a big footy match that afternoon, so the streets are filled with [censored] piss-headed Neanderthal clones being rowdy and letting loose with juvenile chants. Aaaaghh!!! People who chant football songs in the street! Okay stop me!!
