Must confess that at 4pm on a sunday afternoon, when my beloved Spurs are on TV/Radio, it is a challenge to drag myself away from whatever after club I am in to watch it.

 

But we won yesterday, so I am happy

Personally I could take it or leave it (football, that is).

 

I do live a bit too close to the Norwich ground though. Have several hundred people in yellow and green shirts walking past my door on match days. Even if I did give a toss about the team, you would never get me into one of those shirts!

I have to say i like it, i used to follow it so much more than i do now, i never get to any games these days but i always check on scores for my team Man U SHUT IT before anyone says anythin

 

But i have bigger priorities in my life now!!

I don't really like footie but i don't mind watching the odd game, if i've got a pint in front of me

 

My Dad hates footie though.

 

I was away on a course a couple of weeks ago, I was the only girl, and once the conversation migrated to football, there was no getting them off the subject but at least a couple of them confessed they weren't major footie fans, they were just going along with it cuz it was expected

Football's the only sport worth watching. If I could afford to go to every Spurs match I would. Am well chuffed that there are so many fellow Spurs supporters about at the mo!! Has pissed me off in the past having boyfriends that didn't understand why I love footie so much!!!!

Guess I was put off team games at school because no one really played like a team - everyone just ended up blaming each other and arguing and not getting on with improving themselves. Tennis was what I fell in love with as I had something to show for myself, and didnt have to rely on others, plus if I lost I knew it was mine and no one else's fault that lost - so I could measure my performance and improve my skills.

 

Guess I also just get fed up of hearing songs from beer monsters in the local kebab shop when we've just left a club, not a bloody football ground ! Seen too many fights break out as well over footy where I live too - when was the last time you saw someone starting an F1 related fight because "Ferrari Are W*nkers" lol
