Wub, just cheat, pre-record your entire show (you can guarantee it is glitch free), and you can feck off down the pub, you just need to be there to do a talky bit as you swop the Cd's over!!

hehe, actually I was thinking of laying down a pre-recorded mix for next weeks show.

And what do you need a production assistant for anyway? When I did my radio show (when I were a lad, and records were still 78's), I did it all on my lonesome (OK, admittedly, I am billy no-mate's, and no-one wanted to be associated with the [censored] I was playing, but that isn't the point)

Because the studio is quite large, and the mixer and mixing console and decks and microphones are quite far apart.

 

 

That could be an arse, I remember sitting there, all Smashy and nicey, mxing desk in front of me, deck either side of it, and CD players at arms reach, all in a comfy chair with the microphone hanging don in front of me. "Not 'Arf"

how can u DJ if the decks r too far apart and the mixer is out of reach?!? surely that only encurages [censored] lisa lashes style mixing?!?

He did not reply 'Because Tommy is a fantastic freind of whom I feel a real affinity with. It wouldn't have felt right without Tommy being there giving me moral/technical/musical support'.
