I'm by no means an ''old bastard'' but yeah, i certainly do remember them!!

Fantazia @ Castle Donnington ..... 40,000 or so ravers within the grounds, 20,000 watts of tunage pumping out .... aaah - memories bigsmile.gif

I thought Rain dance started the rave scene off?? I'm sure there's could be a big debate on this though ... i.e. "I started the whole thing off!! It was all me, me, me".

I don't know for sure but Rain dance was definitely the first legal fully licienced rave which obviously had a large amount to do with the freedom we have today as clubbers!!! thumbs.gif

Long live the Drome (Now called SE1 - lol)!!!!

Think you're right matey - Raindance were about before Fantazia, but that's not to say that they weren't both the bollox!

think your find it was fantasia , as this was mentioned on the dance years by dave pearce. all the raves were underground in them days, they were the first to bring it all legal instead of ringing a telephone number an hour before and turning up to different venues before u hit the rave.

did u get to see any of them, every week was a different year, starting from 87 to present day. saw a few and would love to get to see the rest.

also forget ibiza, buneos aires( how ever u spell it) is going to be the future for clubbing holidays. see a programe on it and it looked the nuts.
