my friends and i threw another party this weekend as part of our burning man project.

 

460 people turned up and the atmosphere in the place was incredible. the music was also unbelievably good. you can see the first pictures here:

wow the second lot of pics look amazing. looks like my kind of party - doesn't look to be any stress or anything! what was the music?

is that the same party in the two sets of pics - cos there seems to be a guy who wears the same, er... well... umm... girl's top.

so the full magicglasses story started during an acid trip on hampstead heath in london in 1991. it's a long story which will have to wait until another time.

 

regarding the burning man camp, basically we go to the desert and build a 40-foot long tunnel and a 40-foot diameter dome. you can see them both here:

the dome is our dance tent and we have a soundsystem and play music from about 7.00pm until sunrise every night. it's lit up with blacklight from inside and it glows.

 

the tunnel is full of about 5000 xmas tree lights and we invite people to walk through it wearing magicglasses - which we provide. it's pretty trippy on drugs or sober:

it makes people smile a lot which is pretty much the reason for doing it. words don't do burning man much justice and pictures are little better but there are lots of pictures at the magicglasses website which give a flavour of the event...
