Please note that several people are under full moderation (i.e. their posts have to be approved) - due to having multiple accounts, which as everyone knows is against the Forum Guidelines.

 

Full moderation does not mean 'banned' - we dont ban people here as it encourages people to register more accounts.

 

Please try and respect the guidelines - none of us want to have to waste our time editing posts and warning users - its not what we're all here for.

ok, change of plan - one member is consistently registering new accounts and wasting a shit load of our time so all these accounts have been suspended.

 

I just cant understand what drives certain people - if its to annoy us it isnt working i'm afraid.

 

Some people seem to think we are on a 'mission' or 'power trip' to ban users - please note this is the FIRST person to be suspended on this new site. If we had the same characters as the people causing the trouble yes we probably would be on a power trips but we are in fact the total opposite.

 

There is a rule that we dont justify ourselves in public but i guess this it just one of my off days when enough is enough. I expect I'll delete this post in a few hours.

I doubt very much its a power trip. more like the persons envolved though it would be amusing (out of baordom perhaps?).

 

but surely suspending *all* of the accounts is counter productive as if they do geuninly like the site and want to chat then they will only start up a new account as their main one has been suspended.

fear not we are taking the correct procedures - i just wanted to make it clear we are NOT on power trips here - we wouldnt have time to even if we wanted to

 

i'm going to set up a new board for these people as they are obviously not going to do it themselves

 

and yes i am annoyed at time-wasters - we could achieve SO much more if we all worked together as the group i thought we were / could be

Forums are like a window looking into someones psyche.

Personally dont see whats wrong with them - their only a bit of fun - kev had laods on the old board & they ws harmless enough - all a bit serious isnt it!?
