Bah!

I have to write an assignment on the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) about how they maintain web authoring standard's (HTML, XHTML, XML etc) but I can really find anything of use on the net! Iv'e checked out their site but it doesnt really make sense!

Can anyone help at all?
