what were you like at school?

 

Persnonally I was a 6ft 3,acne ridden,self concsiece lurch with more metal streaking across his teeth than the manchester-liverpool railway line.

 

Apart from that,I was ok,Maybe I stuck out like a baboons arse(not so good at 16) but I generally got away with it.

So,who were the nerds and who were the cool kids?

When i was in the first year i was the youngest person in the school. Not a good start - made me feel like i didn't belong there.

For the first couple of years i was quiet and worked hard ... and was therefore branded a "Bod"

In the last few years, i came out of my shell a bit and although still very shy, started mixing with alot more people and generally becoming alot more sociable. I was noticed by the "cool" ones in my year and the year above and was accepted into their fold. This isn't to say that i became one of the "cool" ones, it just meant that they'd look out for me instead of picking on me

To be honest, by the time my GCSE's had started, i was a totally different person - and i'm glad of that. Music was the main thing that changed my personality - i finally found a common link with other people, and a way of communicating easily with them. Probably the most important thing i learnt at school in my opinion

I confess, I was the ugly nerd in the corner who did too well in exams, and never had one girl interested (get out the violins chaps). I was (as I still am) terminally shy. I hung out with the computer/roleplaying geeks and listened to unpopular music (anyone else here own a Big Country album, let alone there first 4?)

At uni it was better, but not great (there were more computer nerds to hang out with, so it was just a bigger group of weirdos, and by then we were all into Heavy Metal!!) It wasn't until I nearly died in a road accident in 95 that I finally realised that life is too short, decided to go out and have way more fun, and that there are far more important things in life than [censored]. (I am still terminally shy until I get to know someone tho!!)

Tall skinny, brainy geek. Wore nasty glasses all through school, which never helps.

 

Was also quite sarcastic whilst at school, so got in trouble quite a bit.

But i wasnt a hermit!

in the first two years i was (trying to be) a bit of a ladies man, tried to get with the women etc, then kinda stopped being such a complete knob (lol!) and concentrated on my [censored], before luckily being accepted byt he cool boys and hanging with them down the field (yeah man!)

was quiet and pathologically shy throughout school, kept mainly to myself, did well in exams, etc. Eventually staretd coming out of my shell a bit during a-levels until slight prob of a mental breakdown and glandular fever, lol. Knew all the "cool" people and they kinda looked afetr me made sure no one was picking on me, mainly cos i let them copy my homework, lol.

 

Still am shy and quiet until i get to know people but then can eb quite loud/annoying

hmmm i was in with the in crowd when i wanted to be, lol. But my friends knew me as an argumentive bastard at times, that had an answer all the time, nothing different there then. But they also consolidated in me cus i listened.

 

But was mainly in the in crowd from my sports side. Was a mad one for rugby and athletics, oh god how i let it go

 

was a bit of a fighter if pushed to it. You know the types of don't know if he really could hold his own if you got in a fight. But generally all was good, was the joker in the group really.

I was a very naughty girl @ school, hence I got expelled! I did everything and anything and was always in trouble! Haven't really changed much since school really, but I've calmed down a bit!

i was a horrible bitch! i was always smoking in the toilets and being really nasty 2 my teachers, and went down the park 2 get stoned! i can't believe how mouthy and rude i used 2 b- what im like now is nothing compared 2 then- i was so ashamed when i left school that i went and apologised 2 me teachers!

Quiet, shy swot. Always working hard, never paid much attention to fashion or looks, but strangley enough was still friends with the 'in' crowd, and not cos they could copy my homework cos they were in lower sets than me!

i was a horrible bitch!
