Sorry I know it sounds harsh but it's just really not a good drink!

 

 

 

But drinking it using a straw is better for your teeth as you don't hold the drink in your mouth it goes straight down.

Would agree though loads of sugar in ribena, rotten teeth what an attractive look

how about you just make sure you brush your teeth properly then? if you be drinking lots of sugary drinks all day?

It's not just teeth - although yes straw and brushing help (I think?)

 

But also, anything with such high sugar content, as it's a quick-release carbohydrate, will affect the levels of glucose and insulin in your blood (so, your body's own sugar levels). It will affect how you feel (energy goes up and then down rapidly instead of more levelled throughout the day) and how you eat (it's likely to make you very hungry once the insulin kicks in) and it's likely to give you cravings for another sugar rush.

And ribena don't really amke much of a difference to me anyways, i just burn off all the calories straight away anyways, lol, i is a skinny wretch and yeah i know about all of this as well, i have had to do entire modules on human nutrition and the endocrine sytem and all sorts of crap like that, lol.

 

Way i figure is, i'm skinny enough anyways, and i take in far worse stuff into my body, what difference is a bit of sugar gonna make?

i just had a pint of ribena - but its just not the same as out of a carton with a straw hmmmm
