if you dont mind me asking - when you overdraft with your bank, how much interest do they change you per week?

I recently had my over draft decreased from £100 to £60 - so i cannot draw out anymore than £60 when my balence is at zero.

HSBC are currently charing me £18 a week interest on £60 - is that right? i think its fookin insane since the max amuont of money i can put into my account per week is 50 quid - so im always a tenner short of clearing my overdraft mad.gif

im just curious to know if anyone else it changed simular - or am i just being ripped off uhm.gif

Mine are interest free cos I'm a scabby student!!

My teenage daughter has been kidnapped, and the people I work with may be involved in both.

I'm Federal Agent Jack Bauer and this is the longest day of my life...

No idea !

sAYING THAT - i WOULD NEVER GO NEAR AN OVERDRAFT.

iF i AINT GOT THE CASHE - THEN i SIMPLY AINT GOT IT !

Fook - caps alert rolleyes.gif

That sounds a bit steep to me mate...is it an agreed overdraft or are they charges for going over an overdraft? I've got a couple of accounts with overdrafts one at £400 and one at £500 and both charge about £5 a month for using them so i'd talk to your bank if I were you.

my over draft was 100 but since i was having problems paying that back they reduced it to 60 - but £18 interest per week on 60 quid seems insane to me - i'll go talk to them tomorrow gotta get me card changed anyways rolleyes.gif
