Soph: dont waste your time hanging on to the past. You are a lovely girl and seemed beyond your age when I met you. There are plenty of guys in this world for you and contrary to popular belief there are LOADS of really nice ones. Find yourself a nice one and you can look forward to so much happiness. Its so hard moving on from a broken heart but trust me, once you start, its a hell of a lot of fun.

 

James: Im not at all happy with you. Not because you didnt show up but because you even suggested you would go there in the first place. Stop leading this girl on. You need some distance in order for you both to move on. Act your age ok? I love you to bits but you know I will tell it to you straight when I need to.

 

Ladies: There are plenty of decent men in this world (I am dating one of them). I have dated some amazingly caring/loving/sensitive men and even they have broken my heart from time to time cuz thats just a part of life. The thing is there are lots of men wanting to treat you like you deserve so dont put up with any bullshit!!!

Of course they do! I have had my heart broken and I have broken hearts. Both are very hard to go through but its something that happens to all of us at one time or another and the good thing is...we get though it and we move on to the next adventure.

 

One thing I always remember is that then when a relationship has ended and I have been really badly hurt, I knew I was going to get the chance to fall in love again and meeting someone new, getting to know them and then falling in love is the best feeling in the world:) So guys and girls: if you are feeling sad and broken hearted, just remember that at some point you are going to get to feel that buzz again which is better than any drug!
