Its definately down to personal choice, maybe a case of drawing the line or snorting it?!

 

Iv not really been gettin fooked these days but i have to say afterparties shouldne be planned as to what happens in them and what u do or dont take, just go with the flow, sometimes things may get messy, sometimes they wont.... personally i love a good waffle about nothing in particular and have some of my funniest memories from it as im sure have a lot of you, why say that im not doin it any more or somethin when in reality ull probably end up doin it anyway, maybe not all the time/as much as u did but still end up doin it.... isnt it best to just decide at the time what u do or dont do and then people cant say "i told u u wouldnt do it" when/if u do get messy!!

well james you know my thoughts on the afterpartys - after the garlands ones i never want to go any more. garlands was infamous for the afters, and eventually they ended up with people having money nicked form them, police round at hopuses, people in mad k holes, having fits, blah blah. this is a massive reason why i stopped going to garlands. it all got too messy, and i wanted to get away before it turned into a scene out of train spotting! believe me it was on the edge!

Some afterpartys are good,some are cak.

 

May as well Just go with the flow,its not like anybody ever forces you to go to them anyway.

I plan to be at a few events in Loondoon in the next couple of months, so I'm gonna hold you to the afterparty idea. Have to bring some of my Cheech and Chongs vids along aswell You might even end up as layed back as me

i also cant see the point of them going on untill 4 in the afternoon! people just get tired and moody!

 

Mainly cos people cant sleep cos of the stuff they have taken!

Must say I agree with most of the above points. After parties are generally very messy and dirty affairs (trust me, I used to run one! ).

 

I can't be bothered with after parties any more with the exception of Hardcore Mornings which I badly wanna check out.

 

These days would rather go back to a comfy livingroom/bedroom, get clean and warm and chill out with some and tunes. Don't sit down as much in clubs anymore chatting codshit, so I like to do it when I can actually hear people.

I personally think Afterparties are part of the whole clubbing event - you cant kill them off completely - especially when you've got people who have got to travel for 3 hours by car - its nice for them to have some rest before they go home. It all depends on the crowd and how silly people get. I've had some amazing afterparites last year which were legendary (first few @debs' in liverpool for example) and they werent totally messy - in fact they were just an extension to the club and everyone was there for the music and to socialise. These are the types of afters i'm going to be looking for in future, and of course the totally relaxing/wind-down pass-the-joint round ones. (eek did i say that)
