I have installed the pop up killer.

 

But it doesnt stop them from popping up on my screen.

 

The pop up will appear then a notification will appear thats its blocked.

 

Which is even more annoying that the pop up itself.

 

That's a bit [censored]. Sorry, I thought it might [censored] and stop them from coming up, but I don't have spyware on my PC (not that I know of) so it was just a suggestion.

another suggestion: I'd say you could try and write to Britannia's marketing dept and tell them that you're not really very happy about it, especially what with it causing your PC to crash, and ask them what company they're using to put these pop-ups on and why they're doing it.

 

Failing that, you could always file a lawsuit.
