Posted March 31, 200322 yr CTW Members I was back at my parents this weekend... met up with a few mates on Sat night. We had a few beers and moved from place to place. Get to one bar - "sorry, no jeans". I was wearing a pair of pretty [censored] cool jeans even if I do say so myself So what's all that about then? It was just a bar ffs (in a small town) - not even a good one at that! Surely the bouncers should be looking at what people are like, not just letting in any old tosser 'cos he had trousers on. Oh how pleased I am you don't get this crap in clubland
March 31, 200322 yr CTW Members I hate it when any place stops me from coming in cos I'm wearing jeans and trainers. My jeans alone usually cost more than some peoples entire outfit and they are allowed in just cos its black trousers and shoes. I don't do much on this planet, but David Blaine has taught me that I could do less!!
April 1, 200322 yr CTW Promotors Oh how pleased I am you don't get this crap in clubland Not so much jeans but I've known some people (CTW'ers) to be knocked because of their face. Thats unfortunate. CreamyC™ Email: CreamyC@ClubTheWorld.uk MSN: CreamyCTW@Hotmail.com Mobile: 07956 462 642 (T-Mobile)
April 1, 200322 yr CTW Members [censored] innit came down to leeds for a few weeks last year to see some old mates and i was well offended when they said "no jeans or trainers" and i got refused entry, i just thought: a. how pathetic are you then b. your pub shuts at 11pm as well which sucks c. i really hate england - things like this make me dread coming back (never had this prob in Scotland)
April 1, 200322 yr Author CTW Members Even more stupid was seeing hundred of people queued down the street for the shittiest cheese club in town We were in a bar opposite - everyone was laughing and takin the piss. hahahahaha @ beer boy clubs
April 1, 200322 yr CTW Members definite no score to shite clubs and dress codes!!! had a dream last night that for some reason i was desperate to get into IKON (shite club in wakefield) and i was really pissed off that they wouldn't let me in because i was wearing a t-shirt and not a sherman shirt... *shudder*
April 1, 200322 yr CTW Members Alot ppl u see out clubbing are much more stylish n better dressed than all the bellends in shirts n trousers, i dont understand places with these crap dress codes.
April 1, 200322 yr CTW Members i fink the original idea behind these kind of drerss codes was to keep the pikeys out, but it all seems to have backfired....... April 1, 200322 yr CTW Members matt wouldnt let me try my come back: bouncer: sorry no denim allowed me: but my arse looks fantastic in these jeans
April 1, 200322 yr Author CTW Members I never said that did I? *resists saying how nice your arse did actually look* oops Anyway - the crazy thing is girls could wear denim, but lads couldn't. Now that is just plain stoooopid !!
April 1, 200322 yr CTW Members i fink the original idea behind these kind of drerss codes was to keep the pikeys out, but it all seems to have backfired....... LOL your not wrong, only poeple who have just spent £13 on a pair of black shoes and trousers can go in and I'm not allowed in when I'm wearing expensive jeans, trainers and t-shirt. I don't do much on this planet, but David Blaine has taught me that I could do less!!
April 1, 200322 yr CTW Members maybe we should have used the ''lets add up my outfit, then add up yours'' line bouncer: shoes bought by wife from matalan - £9-99 shirt from C&A £4-99 lovely 'retro tie' from cancer research 50p trouser he can just fit in due to beer belly £14-99 from burtons
