Both my mum and sis are in hozzi.

 

My sis works on the Labour ward.

 

I once wanted to be a nurse - but now i wouldnt trust myself with in the "chemist closets" hahaha

Trust me, we don't have access, and it would not be woth the risk.

I had [censored] experience in a hospital and a nursing home when i was in school.

 

Totally went off the idea of it all.

 

Plus the stories my mum comes home with - im glad I dodnt choose that profession!

OOOH I love it, there are some bad sides, but you meet some really inspirational people- when I've retired from being a top DJ, I will come back to nursng too!

There was a patient in the hozzi, a very old man. Suffered from Alzhemiers (sp?) and he got on very well with my mum (all the patients and staff love my mum lol) and she was telling me about the things he used to tell her anout his wife who passed away and his children, all about his young life etc...he died in the hospital in my mothers arms

It can be very sad, but also really rewarding, knowing you have made a difference.
