I've loved most of Irvine Welsh's books ... Marabou Stork Nightmares is the one that sticks in the memory best tho' for me grin.gif

Recently read something called the Rhapsody Trilogy by Elizabeth Haydon. Was recommended to me and it turned out to be the best three books I've read in a long, long time! Wont be to everyone's tastes but I heartbeat.gif it

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S Thompson is a classic too smile.gif

i bought all of irvine welshes books the other day. i have read trainspotting, and the acid house, and im trying to read glue at the moment.

the acid house was sooo funny!! really easy to read as is short stories!

glue is hard though cos its written in scottish dialect - some parts are sick!!

"final truth, an autobiography of a serial killer" was one of the best ive read. Very graphic and [censored] up, quite sick actually but one of those where the sicker it got the more you read.

Plus i enjoyed silence of the lambs, hannibal and red dragon. the films have nothing on the books.

Defo cant beat a bit of andy Mcnab and chris ryan, my brother has all books written by both of them
