Whilst my machine is off being repaired (the motheboard died), I have been using my dad's, and this morning I go to install Half-life, and the secondary IDE controller is bolloxed, and the machine is not detecting any drives. Arse!! Looks like I am taking this machine apart later too

Maybe u are transmitting a computer killing virus, better stay away from all technology until u have been debugged.

I am pleased to announce it was merely an IDE cable which had worked lose (I hope)

While we're on the subject ... Any ideas why me computer keeps turning itself off?

 

It only ever happens when its starting up or within the first few mins after its been switched on, so its not just a random thing I think...

My phone keeps doing that, switching itself off randomly. I think it does it to annoy me cos I used to beat it up

I never meant to beat the phone up but got annoyed at the person on the other end of the phone and ended up throwing my phone against a wall. Its not worked properly since but not quite sure why lol

 

I can honestly say I haven't thrown me 'puter at the wall though, so it has no excuse!

Has Blink been anywhere near it, maybe its got the Blink virus

The keyboard on my laptop don't work no more. So thats why I'm in the library, supposedly doing my work!

I managed to do 1000 words the other day. Hoping to get the rough copy of my project done b4 next friday but that actually involves concentrating on doing it
