i have to admit i've dont it 1nce or twice to my photos b4 uploading em - only really if its cuz sumthin looks abnormally odd (ie if ur lips were manky or an odd shaddow cast upon u or if (and i dont really ware em ne more so its not a problem) ur spots r smudged etc)

 

also change the hue et al if its taken on a disposable cam as pics always look faded or sumthin off - just to make it look a tad more like a digital job
