I thought the dates were confirmed hence the reason why everyone booked the dates off.

Yes and now they have changed agin.

 

Now my boss has just tol me that the changes on my holiday are granted. So im now down for the dates said on this thread.

We had this problem last year, everyone booked their hols the decided to change at the last minute, it does cause problems.

i have to say sarah, there really should have been more involvement with us about this, what is the point in our DJs playing on a ctw night when non of us will be there?

Ive only just found out about it myself & posted on the board as soon as i could.

 

There was also some uncertainty about the 1st 2 weeks in Sept being the confirmed dates as no-one was committing to getting deposits to us and we were under the impression that people werent certain if they were going to go or not. The original plan of us all booking our accomodation was therefore scrapped.

 

I appreciate that people may have booked time off work as indeed i had done and i can understand you all being upset about it. Some clubs have offered us dates for our djs to play and reduced admission for our members so i thought we would be stupid not to work around these dates. Myself & James also feel like we are banging our head against the wall trying to do whats best & keep everyone happy just doesnt work when there are so many to cater for and no-one really committs to booking it. AS James says - next year is going to be different & we will have one deal and one set time to go out there.

 

There is still going to be an overlap of dates so most of us are going to be out there for the 1st week in sept.

It's always tricky - and from my point of view, I was totally gutted to miss an oppo like this when I found I couldn't go out in Sep.

 

Having said that, I am over the moon that it's been extended. For such a big group it's really difficult to get everyone going at the same time, but it still looks like it'll be a blinder!

 

I hope to see some of you guys out there when I'm about.... I wish I could do longer but the circumstances of my work mean that when someone else is off, that's it....
