Right, after some recent conversations I've had, I'd like to know wot strange rituals/ superstitions/ phobias you guys are prone to.

my little sister has had a phobia to buttons since as far back as I can imagine.

I've not walked over 3 drains in a row for years coz it's bad luck. And I used to have to check my alarm 8 times b4 I went to sleep.

I know we're not the only ones with these little quirks, so spill the beans!!!

Ive got a phobia of Gilly - he scares me!

I used to do the drains thing....then some bad things happened when I didn't step over them - so I did it again....!

 

I'm a sucker for a single magpie, always do the salute thingy. Right sock, left sock.....god i'm sad.....

Forgot about the magpies. I do that too!! stoopid birds!!!

What do u say? When i see one magpie i say "Good morning Mr Magpie, Good Morning Mr Magpie, Good Morning Mr Magpie, Hows ur wife?"

 

I also do a drain thing but instead of avoidin them i step on two, its either the first two or i miss out the middle one!

 

Strange as it seems as soon as i turn the computer on and while its settin up i always make sure i go toilet!

 

Cant think of anymore at the mo, but i will let ya know if i remember!

I NEVER step on 3 drains and havnt done for as long as i can remember! If i accidently do do tho, i make sure i spit on them!

 

I always make a special effort for 2 drains tho!

Hmmm I've never ever been superstitious ... But my mum is terrible!

 

She has minor panic attacks (OK I might be exaggerating there) over little things like leaving the teapot lid off by accident - Means there will be an unwelcome stranger in the house?

 

Never cut ya toenails on Sunday!! ... Or the devil will follow you for the rest of the week ... Apparently

What like chocolate buttons? I love them.... Not sure if I like them more than smarties though.....hmmm
