Rich, you by no means look a prat. & as Lou has said, it is hardly your fault, the thing I find with twist, it's abit like marmite, you either love it or hate it, for me, I love it, because it so laid back & anything & anyone goes, no bars held & the music is ace, with regular wicked dj's, but for some this openess is a bit too much, which is fair enough

i still had a really good time but the club was way to packed!

 

a took a large group of friends from another clubbin website to twsit on monday and they didnt enjoy it!

 

i know for a fact that if i had taken them on a normal twist night they would have loved it!

 

luckly they have said the weant to go again and party in true twist style

I've been to Twist a fair few times now knowing full well that it is predominantly a gay club, that has never bothered me in the slightest.

 

It may have been because the room was so small, and everything that went on was noticed, where as in the main room things probably occur week in week out but can be hidden or if you don't like what you see you can comfortably move to another spot away from it.

 

Twist always has been THE best after club i've been to, for the Dj's to the excellent sound system it has, and i'd say majority of people there have been as friendly as.

 

The toilets are pretty rank and an option as to whether you go in unisex or not would be nice ... but a cleaner would be better

 

If funky is filling a room that size like it did Monday, I can see the room status staying the same, which would be a shame for the likes of me but you have to go with the calling at the time

 

Still had a fooking great time there though and had to be dragged off the dance floor when it was time for us to leave

From the look of this post, most people seem to be saying that Twist on monday was particularly bad and its not always like this....

I have been a good few times now and it has ALWAYS been dark, dirty, dingy, and full of pikey scum. And watching gays indulge in sexual activity on the dancefloor is not uncommon practice....

In my opinion, Twist is shit - Always has been, always will be.

The only people that seem to really appreciate it, are those who are so fucked on drugs they can't see what it's really like.
