Anyone know how to get rid of these HORRIBLE toolbars which just appear one day in IE - i've only JUST re-installed my o/s and they are back again ! :@

 

This one has search, email search, check email, smilie, chat room etc.. etc.. at top (called 'each cake' :s) and then another HUGE toolbar at bottom.

 

Maybe its a registry hack ?

 

ad aware and spybot dont do shit

 

anyone know of any utils to REMOVE the f^ckers - or know of a regedit hack ???

 

 

Its not the hotmail one is it?

sometimes if u email the ppl who make it, they'll tell u how to get rid of it

ps, the one which comes up at the bottom has stuff like 'make money, investing, sex, travel, casion ' etc on the toolbar - and its like 3 times the thickness of a normal toolbar

 

even though you can close them they keep coming back up with each new instance of a browser window

 

MOST ANNOYING - far more annoying than the ones which keep changing your homepage

Format Drive C and re-install windows. Cures all computer related woes.

i got simular tools bars as well james! well annoying, i usually jsut turn them off via 'view - toolbars' but they usually open themselves back up after a while - well annoying

Get a proper virus protector & a cookie patrol thing!!!

I get no pop ups or viruses, just a pop from the speakers everytime it works!

its good though. Everyone should have one, you'd be suprised at how many companies have stuff loaded on your computer so they can see what sites you go on!! Computer games come with them and you dont even know about it!

i have adware - McAfee virus center should be enough protection really
