wicked line-up, shame it clashes with Wildchild

Some friends of mine went to ROAR last Friday.

 

Apparently it was wicked - I have been meaning to visit ROAR for around 2 years now lol.

yeah its the first hh event at creation over there too and its suppossed to be a nice venue

Well I will deffo be sure to make a trip up with a few peeps as soon as dude !

my mate thought ROAR was a bit lifeless last week, apparently more than BIonic last night which wasn't exactly packed.

 

For everyone's information: Creation is a cheesy club normally but i love it as a venue and always wanted a proper club night in there and this is the first. Has a cool feature where the 2 rooms upstairs can become one by a wall that raises up. Means that u can hear the other room if ur dancing near the wall tho

The other plus point is that its only 5 mins walk from my house instead of half an hour plus to evolution (not that that bothers me anymore as i can now drive there)

 

I will be there along with a load of other people.

i hadn't seen this one so it got deleted

 

the reason it is dead in cardiff atm, is cos of exams. They are almost over by this event so more people will be going. I am going and it should be good, its just that the one the other day lacked atmosphere apparently (i wasn't there so am relying on my mates judgement of comparing it to last night [which reminds me i should go to bed soon])

 

(the main prob with clubbing in cardiff is the clubber:scally ratio which is about 1:4)

 

Hopefully with it being in creation tho there will be less scallies as evolution where most big 'proper' club nights is where they all go. Adverts inside evolution include ones for Kris Hill (whoever he is) mixing 'Valley trance' (WTF is that) on Saturdays is a testament to the market they're aiming for.

 

Bring on this ROAR tho. If its nething like the one i have been to in March its gonna be amazing
