but it is ok for some countries to tie prisoners up & march & drag them down the road & video it & show it??????

i'm afraid those people are dead sweetie! Still not nice to do what they did, but they were dead and not POWs. They were also at the hands of milta, who aren't reg army and i believe don't follow to the standard code of conduct (correct me if i'm wrong there as i'm not 100% sure on that). But are you saying that because they do it, then hey we shouldn't really be that bothered because they've done worse?! Surely we should lead by example?!

Depends if the country is a part of the Geneva convention, or entirely up to the media organisation who video'd it (not a part of the geneva convention unless they are state owned).

There are pretty much no rules to fighting, except kill the enemy and win. Rules apply for those who are not or are no longer combat effective.

Makes sense to me. Or there wouldn't be a civilian left alive, in a war zone.

Don't forget that certain weapons are banned such as chemical weapons and lazers etc.

I do think that the US have been experimenting with so-called "safe" lazers. I get the impression that safe is one thing that they'll not be.

Ah, yeah forgot those. Weapons with the potential to kill thousands indiscriminately (not that conventional weapons discriminate, but you get the idea).

so maybe we should just all result to a game of tag! I think that would be a lot more effective on the battlefield.
