Global gathering was good, and Ibiza, most of my nites out clubbin the last 6 months have been wicked everytime tho

Prob last weekend, Sat ... ended up seeing Lab-4 at a club in E14 or E15 in London. I think it was called the Rex, but not sure. It was one of those spontaneous things. We had been workin in the city all week and went to Camden where we picked up a flyer in Jupiter and though [censored] it and went. It was an interesting jouney home, I can tell you !!!

Stafford Rex? Mine friend had somene bad things to say about that place, and she has been to some dirty drug-dens in her life, but if you liked it, cool

Why, what horror stories have you heard ? The taxi driver said it probably wasn't the best place in the world either !! The reason it was good, was due to it being a well last minute thing !! I doubt I will be going back there again !! The music was OK though !!

I've alwyas wondered what it's like there - it's in the same road wehre i [censored] and coz i have to [censored] can never go when it s on - wot makes it worse coz sometimes i see fooked up peeps walking down the road jsut as i'm getting to [censored]!! there's often shootings and bad fights down there tho as ther's some garage club nearby so maybe that's y it's dodgy

Am I qualified to even say - given, I've not been clubbing a year yet...still, here goes nothing:

 

That first night at Escape to Samsara at The Fridge back in March was like walking through the looking glass or coming out of the back of the wardrobe and winding up in Narnia. Blew my mind totally...or

 

Boshing my nuts off at Manumission when Layo and Bushwacka: Love Story kicked in with that insane bass tidal wave. Oh, yes!...or

 

Finally coming up (after an almighty fcuking struggle) to Energy 52 at Euphoria closing party at Eden.

 

Who knows which one was best...frankly, who cares??! They were certainly seminal moments.

 

Two highlights for me.

 

1) Steve Lawler followed by Erick Morillo on the Space Terrace on the 21st July. Steve Lawler layed down a perfect bed for Erick Morillo to follow with. They were both incredible.

 

2) Meeting Norman Jay (a heroe of mine) at the Base Bar in Ibiza town, and having a very long, very indepth conversation with him about house music. And then him recognising me two days later in Pacha and buying a a drink.

I would have to say my two highlights were

 

1) Dancing to Ssshh be quiet....Listen at the first GCSS. Everyone had waited for it all day, we heard it at the radio1 stand and everyone ran to it

 

2) The garlands beach party at kanya in ibiza this year - never have I met a cooler bunch of people in my life. I think most of them were regulars to garlands. What other club puts three cannasters of helium there for the "enjoyment" of all the clubbers? - class!

mine would deffinatly have 2 b tidy wekender... by far!!

 

hopr this 1 is as good..

I'd say either Global Gathering as standing behind Lab 4 as they played was F*CKING AMAZING or the Tidy event at SE1 - F*CKING AMAZING.

Global Gathering was amazing!!!
