I don't have a problem with dress codes as long as the bouncers aren't total fascists. I prefer going to a night where people look like they have made an effort, I reckon it enhances the night.

 

Having said that, comfort comes before appearance for me. I'd much rather wear smart trainers and jeans than being forced to wear shoes and trousers just because of some daft rule. But I think it's a bit wank when people look totally scruffy on a night out.

 

Agreed with Russ - it mings when people show too much flesh. Except when I'm twatted and I'm reduced to ogling at virtually naked breasts, in which case it's fine.
