I am a bit of a norman when it comes to money, and rarely check my cc statements, as I prefer not to know how much "her indoors" has spent on clothes this month!!

 

This month I though I would check, trying to save for xmas etc. There was an entry "HOME VIDEO CHANNEL LTD" £8.99, I had seen this b4, and thought Shelley had been buying things from the shopping channel. There is a phone no. in the location/ contact no, so I phoned it, the voice said:

"Good morning Playboy Channel"!!

I subscribed to this 2 years ago, and cancelled after about 6 months, or so I thought!!!

Ok, so it's a lot of wasted dosh, and more fool me, it's taught me a lesson about being so slack, but.....

 

I'm devastated that I could have been watching the channel all this time, and never realised it, argggghhhhh.

 

Anyone else ever had "unknown" things on credit cards???

when i got my mobile they said i had free insurance for 3 months. after about a year i lost my phone. it wasnt untill about 2 months later i realised they had been taking £14-99 per month from my account for insurance as i hadnt cancelled it after the initial 3 free months! really pissed me off as i had just spent £100 on a new phone!!
