theyre on medium- high

 

ive lowered them to the point where security is soon gonna be 'off'

hmmm odd, but cant see it being the banners??? stay of the porn sites

well basically you have a setting in IE that thinks that an AcitveX control that is about to be excuted could potentially harm your PC. So it's good nature it will stop that from running to stop such a harmful act happening on your PC.

 

You can change this in your settings in the security option somewhere else in the option section under tools

what kind of 'harmful act'.

basically activex can be made to download virus's into your pc or any other harmful act, like formattin your pc, or deleting stuff. basically anything the person that has programmed it to do.

Recombobulate your superdoobledrive then hit it with a big hammer.

 

I got a question for all you computer type people.

 

You know when you've got IE running, and if you right click on a page it comes up with a list of options (Back, Set Background As..., Select All, Create Shortcut, etc, etc) How do I get rid of things in that list?

 

A friend of mine has been visiting alot of porn sites and I've now got >>>FREE PORN GALLERIES>>HARDCORE MOVIES

 

Anyone got any ideas how? Also, my PC is alot slower now since hes been visiting these sites. Its really annoying.

Well first install adaware 6. you can get that free from http://www.download.com then do a search and clean out your system. That should be the first port of call. Check the drop down thing after you've run that to see if it's cleaned. If it hasn't i'll tell you what to do next.

i seem to be having that trouble all the time now.......... even when i switch my pc on!

 

 

 

 

looks like that f**king virus has struck !!

 

probably the only way to get rid of the little fucker is to wipe your whole memory off (including motherboard memory) and start afresh with whatever operating systems you've got (whether it's windows 98, 2000, me or platinum!)
