Well first install adaware 6. you can get that free from http://www.download.com then do a search and clean out your system. That should be the first port of call. Check the drop down thing after you've run that to see if it's cleaned. If it hasn't i'll tell you what to do next.

I've got ad-aware and I run it once a week and it hasnt worked. Also got a spy bot but that hasnt worked.

 

I've tried restoring my computer to a previous days settings but that didnt work either.

ok this might be the tricky part. go to start and then run. type in regedit.

 

then either do a search on the phrases that pop up in the drop down menu. OR do a search for MenuExt. Hopefully you'll see two folders with the porn links in there. Delete those and save the changes. Hopefully that should get rid of them.

OK...found and deleted the files but its still there in the menu. Do I need to close the window and restart or reboot my computer or anything?
