there was also a huge explotion in Glasgow a factory near where my Aunty stays

Lesson here is not to work in a Factory because shit like this can happen at anytime anywhere.

we had an earthquake in the midlans sometime last year.... was rubbish, it just shook for about 3 seconds then stopped...

 

if you are in an earthquake, may as well make it worth it

I don't think there has been an earthquake. They described the damage to the factory as being as if hit by an earthquake. Perhaps this is the source of the confusion?
