I have some traditional mushy peas simmering away!! Yumsters.

 

None of the new fangled out of the tin rubbish, they have soaked overnight, and rapid boil 10 mins, now another 60 to go!

 

1st time on Bonfire nite I've had good ole mushy peas for years, and boy r they worth the preparation.

 

To be served tonite with 2 * country veg pies and mint sauce.

 

I reckon mid way through any club night, the muzic should stop for 20 mins for everyone to get a good healthy helping of pie & peas.

i knocked myself up a quick bacon sarnie as i wasn't to hungry and it did the job a goodun!!

I was going to cook but since the fireman have been on strike I have been banned from cooking anything until they're back!
