You thought about settin up an irc channel? Somewhere for people to just hang out in and talk random bollox in a big group setting?

yus, irc is good and is dead easy to use, plus never needs to be taken offline for repairs

If you got Unreal IRCd which is a IRC server package, it would be alot more stable that the normal chat room, also because it would be run off the website server, it won't cause the website to lag best of all its free providing you can find someone one with a 24/7 net conection to host it for you for free

IRC would be good for sure - I moderate a chatroom on a major server at the mo ...

i used to love irc - but sum how i fuked up the code of my irc client and i only have an antiant verson compliled and i'll be damned if i go back to using mIRC

don't mind mirc, but then again i did spend far too long setting up scripts and altering the look. can't stand default mirc, tis nasty.

Well if you know what you're doin with irc join the quakenet server (irc.quakenet.org) then jump into #clubtheworld and start a brand new live chat
