Given all the trouble in the world....

 

i see so much debate about 'oh we need to be thoughtful towards our fellow man' but its quite clear that some beliefs/religeons will never agree..

 

If you were given ultimate power (ie god but with no 'magic') to do as you wished for 6 months knowing you could never be judged for what you did after...

 

A large task that might incur a lot of guilt and remorse (but lets say for the sake of argument, you were personally given the task by aliens who were gonna destroy the earth if you didnt succeed. but if you did succeed, you would be given the reward of joining the 'interplanetary union'(or something))

 

What would you do to make the world a better place?

 

No emotional 'thats so out of order' type responses please, just arguments as to why you think ideas would work or not.

 

How do you go about creating Utopia?

maybe... but it is valid to a point after all it was (allegedly, and i may be mistaken!) used as a form of Marriage councelling a couple of decades ago.

 

In all honesty, I wouldnt know where to begin, there is too much pain and suffering to be able to deal with,without using Magic godley powers

Ban people from worshipping me and tell them to stop killing one another in my name. Then smite a few who carry on regardless.

to begin with... the multiple middle east crisis' would be the first port of call.

 

Its quite clear that these people are beyond our help. the hatred that dwells in this region would need to be dealt with.

i dont think that any amount of help or trying to make things right would ever make the world a utopia there will always be something in the way or thretening our civilisation

 

but i know i would get rid of a few people ie. siddam and along them lines

 

but id give that power up rather willingly

id be eaten alive by all the do-gooders on here but i hear what your saying ian, my ideas would be along them lines,

 

im gonna give it some more thought and try to word it so its not as harsh as its gonna sound........il still get the abuse though (im just not in the mood for it now )
