Just found out this morning that its possible for us to install our own MSN Messenger style Instant Messenger server - this will be cool as everyone on it will be from ClubTheWorld and its kinda better than the live chat clients i've seen out there so far. Can also customise it to 'look' like CTW.

 

Not sure if its really necessary etc... but it will be kinda cool to play with it ! plus it will be a bit more 'personal' to us.

Sounds good James, keep us informed cos we always get stuck on MSN only bein able to have 4 people in the window!!

good idea but why not just use a live chat room?

james, if u want a club the world instant msger programmed i can knock u up sumthin

 

it will probs only be written in visual basic as its been years since i've done ne networking applications and visual basic will be quickest to pick up again

 

i could also write a chat room 4 u if u like

 

btw - what server u running? is it a linux/unix, beos/macos or windows?
