I'm a 3rd year student studying Model Design at the University of Hertfordshire at the most grey, boring place in the world; Hatfield. I'm so glad I don't live here.

I'm aiming at a career in model making and special effects in film and tv.

Model design? as in 3d computer models or normal ones...?

I'm studying architecture though I don't think I want to be an architect (clever boy, three years down, another 4 years to go) but it has made me really interested in Graphics and particularly Film, partly to do with using 3d programs such as FormZ and currently 3D studio Max/Viz (which is a pain to learn!)

 

No i'm a hands on physical model maker using my hands and tools etc.

I'd like to get into the computer side of it as it how all types of model making is going, but i'm shite with computers, but I am willing to learn. I've got a copy of 3D studio max at home but my computer's too [censored] to handle it!

Ive just quit college lol and im gettin a job for a year then im going back to college next year, i need the money and i wanna study criminal psychology lol The brain fascinates me but for the meanwhile i need to sort my own out lol

I have to look after a 2 year old who doesn't listen to me, screams and shouts around the house, always wants the music and TV on louder, makes a constant mess everywhere he goes, I don't even get paid.....oh the joys of motherhood.
