[censored] i really wanna make this - just realises it clashes with a DnB night at Fabric

 

Would Tara and Co. mind if I missed the fabric night and did fabric another time - I dont wanna miss DJ Tommy's birthday as he is one sound character who I met at the CTW night in Notts....

 

Added this event on the main page - I'm kinda beginning to wonder though if the schedule should be on the main page as there are gonna end up being tons of events we're all going to sooner or later.

I'm goin!!

Every Friday is DnB at Fabric!

i know it is, but the lineup is soooo good! hmm, may see if i can afford slinky, not sure, xmas is an expensive time of year!

Slinky cost breakdown;

 

Travel = £13 return from Waterloo to Born-Muff

 

Entry to club = £5.

plus another £7 for a weekend railcard too

 

shall ahev to see closer the time, but would really like to go to slinky at soem point. Should do at some point really, go see aunt and baby cousin during the day and then go out at ngiht!

James this is the ONLY night of the year when Fabric has DnB in all 3 rooms..................so instead of a once yearly event you're going to yet another run of the mill trance night, TYPICAL!

Tara~ this one has a drum n bass room too, soo there's a little diversity there....maybe?

Classics night is gonna be fantastic and by no means run of the mill. 3 of the best djs in the UK playing QUALITY classics in the main room, with some equally quality classics being played in the drum & bass room with one of my fav. MCs: MC Magic.

 

Ells: Fantastic! I didn't think you'd be up for this. Can't remember exactly how I asked you tho? Was I rude?

I've been to Slinky twice already so its not like I never leave London.

 

The point is, we were going to Fabric to see top DnB DJ's in all 3 rooms which only happens once a year, usually they put DnB in crumby room 2, this is why we were gonna' go on the 27th!

 

I know they have DnB in Slinky but when you compare it too Fabric................well, you can't.

 

And Wub............ummmm isn't Slinky on every friday too?!

I think that both Fabric and Slinky have put on special events on the same night. I have checked the laws of this country, and apparently that is allowed.

You know I love trance and that, its just I've done too much of it recently, would just be nice to have a bit of a change.

And I know Slinky is good but as I said, I think I've over done it recently.

Now, I'm pretty sure this was mentioned to quite a few people over the course of Friday/Saturday, but just to recap;

 

Slinky on the 27th December is classics night.

 

- £5 all night to get in.

 

- Dave Lea/Tim Lyall/Garry White (ressies) in the main room, playing classic trance/hard dance anthems from Slinky's past (ie FireWire)

 

- Upstairs = drum and bass ressies.

 

After party at Wub's house. Hope plenty of you can make it. If you've never been to Slinky before, this is a perfect opportunity to experience just why I say it's always good to be home.
