I have been on the other side of this, and loved 2 people, and had one "on the sly". I couldn't decide who I wanted, and in retrospect I would probably have tried to keep both if I could have (I think a lot of people would like to be able to have their cake and eat it (WTF does that mean anyay?)).

What about "Can't see the forest for the trees"...

 

Does that mean you can't see the beauty of the forest cos all the individual trees get in the way, or that you can't see that the forest is made up of beautiful, individual trees?
