even though it not a film i've been watching band of brothers a lot and saving private ryan. I blame it on my WW2 interest!!

Did u think Band of Brothers was a good portrayal of what things were like then?

i've read the book that band of brothers was made from, funnily enough it also is called band of brothers. I think it's a pretty good depiction of what happened. Of course it will never really truely sum it up because we just can't do that. We can only see that if we were there.

 

Although the bit in the ardenne forrest looked pretty real from all accounts i've heard.
