is it possible 4 u to say in the e-mail that u send out when u recieve an e-mail more info than just the following:

You have received a private message on the board at ClubTheWorld.uk - Discussion Forums. You can go to http://community.clubtheworld.uk/login.php to view it.

 

if u could include the name of the sender of the e-mail and porssible the actual pm msg its self as well??

then whats the point in have in the pms then.. just have em email ya..lol

really? pah. it only takes an extra 2 mins to log onto the site anyways, and you know you're all gonna be drawn back to the site anyways, like an addict looking for his next fix, lol!

but my point is if i'm expecting an important pm and i dont have time to keep checking the site and dont wanna loose the status of the posts (ie u log into the site and log out all the posts become old even tho u havn't read em) so u know whether the pm is important or not

 

plus not every1 displays thier e-mail address in case of spamming, bombs, viruses etc so its a safer way of getting e-mailed

yeah it used to do that on the old message board - i'll have a look and see if i can get this one to do it - it is possible but just a question of how much work is involved...

Surely if its important its no effort to actually come on the site, and to read ur pms u dont lose the post thing what ur talkin about!!

I liked that you used to be able to read the PM in the notification you recieved on email. I don't have internet access in the day, but can use [censored] email. Its frustrating knowing you have a PM, but having to wait hours till you can read it!!

I thinkk theres an option u can tick in ur profile bit... ill have a look!!

Right in personal preferences theres this option to start

 

Subscribe / Unsubscribe from receiving forum posts by email, change message notifications, etc.

 

then in that u can choose to get emailnotification when u r PM'd dunno how it worx as i dont use it but thats it if u wana use it!!

but then u wont get an e-mail at all which is worse
