in Australia donks ago, the Salvation Army i think started a food drive here for the left over food from Christmas, which you packed into a box and gave it to the collectors so that the less fortunate could have a kinda xmas...its a public holiday here the day after Xmas day but sadly there is no more collection and the less fortunate still miss out, so im going to buy a homeless person a meal tonight.. xmas eve and a few drinkies and i have a pressie for them too, i bought for a man coz men seem to be the most homeless...its a time of love and i believe if you dont express it somehow then Christmas is kinda hollow ? do you have boxing day in the U.K all

I got a christmas card in the post on tuesday from my friend that moved over to Oz last year. I was surprised to see it had the whole 'white christmas' theme to it, seeing as i doubt many people have had a white christmas in Australia - isn't it strange how some customs just seem to catch on ...

Boxing Day comes after Christmas Day and two days after Christmas Eve, its basically set up for those people that dont like the [censored] they got for Christmas so BOX it back up, hence the reason its called Boxing Day !
