CJ Bolland released a track with the same name a few years ago and it is a stormer.

 

are these two related? in which case, why is Oakenfold getting credit for it - has he remixed it?

 

i ask because i can't find an original track by Oakenfold called 'The Prophet' using my filesharing tools.

    Yeah there's been some talk about it - that Oakenfold is basically [almost] nicking the track from CJ and releasing it as his own as a *cover* rather than a *remix*, therefore he's releasing it under his own name to get the credit or something.

     

    It's all bitching I suppose just because the original is so good and nobody really wants to see it re-worked.
