I think Nationwide are probably the best, always friendly and helpful plus they have some of the best rates in the country, AND they are owned by us the investor more than they are by a shareholder like most banks. It is a Building society but they do all the same stuff as a bank my two cents - can I have some more of these?
December 30, 200222 yr CTW Members Hi James - don't u own a house? I'd sell it! That's what I did. Sure got me out of a big pickle. I lived in a 3 bedroom home with 2 1/2 baths etc etc, and only used about 1/8th of the space. What was I paying for? Oh yes, the interest on my mortgage!! You're not the only one that gets into debt. If the bank won't consolidate ur debt, make minimum payments if you can. At least you're keeping your credit in good order! And DON'T lose your job cos of CTW or chatting/clubbing - not worth it!
