Has anyone had hair extensions, the length kind not the body or coloured kind. I know they cost in the region of 200 squid but I want to know how good they are?

ive had them i only had half a head of them a whole head was £200 i had a half so it was £100

DONT get them done! there awfull and you have to give them 100% attention the whole time! you also need straightening fluids and special heat things!

plus they made my hair go really nasty when i took them out!!!

See, if I had them done, it would only be a temporary thing, they only have to look good for a couple of weeks then I can take em out. It seemed like an easy way out but you hear so many horror stories. All the celebs always seem to look so glam, but I suppose they have styllists and ulta expensive extensions...maybe they would be ok on a short term basis...

My best friend has had plastic extensions, which looked amazing, but were a lot oif hassle, and coloured ones, which she had for her wedding, and they also looked amazing, but with both sets, after about a month she thought it was too much like hassle. (but then again, she changes hair color every few weeks)

Sophies rite - I had exact same prob when I had mine done tho at the time they served a purpose as my hair was bleached and really went thin at the back n sides, mine looke d wicked at 1st but yep i needed special shampoos and they fell out pretty quick too, only thing I don't mind was i went as model so only paid £20 to get mine done so was bit've bargain i guess, would never hav 'em or reccommend 'em tho as they really wreck ur natural hair and my hair was even thinnner when i took 'em out rolleyes1.gif

See I need to have natural looking ones, cos I want to have my hair down at my wedding...I guess I will have to wait a few months a see! The only plus point is that they only need to look good for about a week
