I need a second hard drive for my machine, for using for dedicated audio streaming. Anyone got any suggestions?

 

I was thinking maybe the Seagate Barracuda V, 80GB, 7200rpm.

 

But I must confess, I am a bit out of my depth.

    [censored] seagate, best to go with maxtor mate, again 80Gb 7200rpm or 9600rpm, pref UDMA 66 or 133 depending on what your Motherboard supports.

    I always thought Seagate made better drives than Maxtor.

     

    Obviously the main concerns are sustained transfer rate, and noise level (I don't have a spare bay for a silent sleeve, so would have to be a low noise drive)
