looks like we're having our 3rd wave of redundances here at [censored] at the moment. Who know who will go - one person has gone already who'd worked here for TWENTY YEARS. Now THAT is out of order - especially as they are hiring new people.

James, i know exactly how you and everyone where you [censored] is feeling at the moment. Today my redundancy has finally sunk in cos my redundancy cheque and my P45 arrived in the post this morning. All i can say is if you think you're job isn't secure (and by what you said about the +20 years guy, no one's is) start looking for a new jon NOW. It's the worst feeling in the world being kicked out of a job when you haven't got another one lined up ready to walk in to, cos you know that the bills aren't gonna stop coming in. I've had to face up to that fact this week, and trust me, finding a job straight away is a bastard, so get your arse in gear and get looking ... just incase.
