It doesn't [censored] on the computers at my uni

I used it a couple of times and was sat talking to myself for a while

 

 

i did have a local chat room running but when we were experiencing problems with the box hanging i was forced to remove it. I too have had problems with chat rooms other than those which can run locally but they really slow the box down - if i can get a bigger or 2nd box one day i'll deffo put it back up, although when there are too many people on it gets sooo confusing. MSN is the best bet in the interim, although i know some people also have restictions using this. I think there may be a 'plug-in' chat room to these forums i can use but again i think certain firewalls will block it. I'll keep looking into it - I'm also trying to [censored] out how i can get PMs to run between more than 2 people and be able to set up distribution lists - handy for when sorting guestlists/payment details out etc.. although i'm also looking into how to completely automate the guestlist procedures.
